Empower Network Releases All New Blogging

By Scott Torres

The Empower Network has experienced many developments with the release of ENV2, the current incarnation of the EN blogging system. This is surely no major secret to people within this specific niche, as thousands of EN affiliates have been clamoring about it for the last several months.

And whilst you may well have been swamped with affiliates striving to promote their links to you, there has been very little talked about relating to the actual modifications and components of the latest Empower Network platform.

What is changing?

The Empower Network blogging program has been totally revamped and is really divergent compared to what it was previously.

It is being heralded as the blogging service that your Grandma can use. Well, I've never met your Grandma but these guys have clearly made it easier from a blogging standpoint.

The popular blogging software, Wordpress, was the basis for the development on the initial Empower Network blogging system. This was operational but left a lot to be desired for those who were not really technically skilled. For individuals like me, who have been blogging for a while, the older platform was okay. However for the very great majority of new customers it was still challenging and overwhelming and quite distant from "plug-and-play".

Apparently people over at Empower Network administration noted the same because the all new ENV2 platform has definitely streamlined everything.

The dashboard area has been broken into four primary operations: Text post, video post, audio post and image post. Each option is chosen by a large image icon displayed at the top of the page. All the blogger has to do is select the category of post he would like to post, fill in a couple fields and that's it.

The whole process of posting is about as simple as anyone could make it.

And though the text posting does still allow basic text configuration by means of a regular highlight-and-click process, they have taken out the "code" version so as to further streamline things. Certain more knowledgeable bloggers who wish to do more complicated tasks with their blog posts may find this unacceptable but the vast majority of people, I think, will like the easier process.

The smart-phone mobile app is possibly the main "gimmick" delivered by this brand-new update. The app is expected to offer people the ability to develop their business without needing to be at their computer. Examples are given of individuals recording a video on their phone, then with a single click, uploading that video and posting it to their Empower Network blog. Easy. Quick. Sounds really cool right? The catch is that one would need to be a subscriber to of the Empower Network video hosting service in order to make this work. This is an additional service and more spending surely, but it does protect against YouTube deleting your videos which you worked so hard on.

The option to embed videos into your blog just using an embed code or just a YouTube URL still remains. Most people would undoubtedly just use free video services yet they should realize that YouTube isn't created for entrepreneurs to use for marketing purposes. There is always a chance of having all your videos removed arbitrarily which could be hazardous to your bottom line. A lot of more savvy marketers will already be using their own private video hosting and that may be embedded too. But the strategy was to have the EN blog function in conjunction with the Empower Network video hosting service, making everything quick and smooth to create vlogs.

Personalization is going to be sacrificed for the sake of ease. Whether this is a problem is a thing for each individual to find out on their own.

One of the things that has been made far is the addition of photos to your posts. One doesn't need to align or size their images ever again. Just a couple clicks and the system does the rest, sizes it appropriately. Text wrapping is no longer an issue.

Different in the new model is something regarded an "Activity Feed", like your Facebook feed. Empower Network customers now see a feed when they log in, which consists of fragments of new blog posts placed by other Empower Network members to whom they are connected.

Every person can choose when making a new blog post on whether to make that post public or to have it included in the Activity Feed for just certain membership levels for their customers. As an example, a person could choose to make one post display to all their Basic members and another post to show just to their Master's Course customers.

One can also click a button and grab any of the posts that they discover in their activity feed and the new platform will automatically post the very same to your own blog. Simple sharing. Easy curation.

Overall the gravely technically challenged and the beginner will find the new ENV2 platform to be significantly easier and a much lessened learning curve contrasting the prior platform.
